Taiko drums are traditionally heavy and bulk. It also takes some investments to purchase a Taiko drum for practice; this may be challenging for some people and groups to kick start their Taiko journey.

For some groups of participants, for example, the elderlies and person with autism, regular Taiko drums may be too loud for them to enjoy the art form.

To make Taiko drumming accessible to all, we produced hand-made Eco Taiko drums using recycled material such as PVC barrels, durable canvas skins and ropes. With all the innovative features, we reduced the cost, weight and sound of regular Taiko by more than 80%. Give it a try today!
